Wedding Agreement | AKR Photography

This agreement is between AKR Photography PTY LTD (hereinafter “AKR”) and the persons named above who executes this agreement below (hereinafter “Client”) relating to photographic services on the wedding date declared. DEPOSIT: To retain AKR’s services for the wedding date, a non-refundable booking fee of 40% of the total package is required. This deposit reserves AKR’s photographic services for the wedding date and contributes to the balance. Account Name: AKR Photography PTY LTD BSB: 112 879 ACC: 431 920 562 PayID 0415 829 679 Payment Policy: Client shall pay the remaining balance in full at least four (4) weeks prior to the wedding date, otherwise AKR is released from any obligation to provide their services for the wedding date. Expenses: If the Client requires AKR to incur expenses not included in the package, the Client shall reimburse AKR for such expenses within six (6) weeks of the Wedding Day. If photographs and albums are to be forwarded to the Client, the Client shall assume responsibility and shall reimburse for the cost of shipping or couriers. The Client agrees to a timely payment of any outstanding account with AKR. Thereafter, a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% annual basis) will apply. Cancellation: Should a cancellation or reschedule occur AKR will need to be notified in writing. If the cancellation of AKR’s services is within six (6) months of the wedding date, the Client will be liable for full payment of the package cost, unless AKR is able to secure another wedding at least equivalent in value, on the same day. Specific Coverage: A Guest Meal (Not a Staff Meal) is to be provided, if AKR’s services are booked during reception (No Red Meat Thank You). Four hours are allocated for your album design, should you require time outside this, it will be charged at $50 per hour. Both Client’s are required to attend this appointment, which will only be made at 10am on a Weekday, 3 to 6 weeks after your Wedding Date. If you are unable to finalise your design within this time period, your Post Wedding Day Timeline will be suspended & AKR’s services will only available again, by appointment, in off peak season. Weekend appointments are rarely available but when applicable, carry a $250 + GST surcharge. Limitation of Liability: All photographs taken by AKR will be made at their professional discretion and creativity, while AKR will make every effort to comply with the Client’s requests, AKR cannot be held responsible. In the event of heavy rain or strong wind AKR is not responsible for the effect this may have on your photographs. While every reasonable effort will be made to produce and deliver outstanding photographs of the wedding events, AKR’s entire liability to the Client for any breach of this agreement, claim, loss, or injury arising from AKR’s performance is limited to a refund of the amount that the Client paid for the photographic services, minus costs. In the extremely unlikely event of personal illness, pregnancy or other circumstance beyond the control of AKR, another photographer will be sent out to fulfil the obligations of photography herein contracted. Ownership, Reproduction and Publication: AKR owns the copyright to all photographs, negatives, proofs and digital files of the wedding events. The parties agree that AKR may produce, advertise, publish and or exhibit the photographs, sneak preview & album design, including on Facebook, as samples of AKR’s work. The terms expressed herein and on the previous page constitute the full and complete understanding between AKR and the Client. We agree to these terms & conditions.
